Conceived as a refined extension to Cochin International Airport, the courtyard reimagines the terminal frontage as a place of genuine repose — designed not to accelerate the passenger experience, but to momentarily suspend it.

A contemporary tropical language governs the composition. Granite pathways trace movement with tactile clarity; a sculpted wooden baffle ceiling introduces warmth and overhead rhythm. Cream-toned surfaces and terracotta roof tiles draw from Kerala’s architectural memory, reinterpreted with contemporary precision. Water bodies along both flanks complete the sensory composition.
